Do you care about the environment? Many of us might say yes, we need it to be alive. Therefore, why we not take actions to stop pollution and extinction of animals. The global warming is what is changing the temperatures all around the world. Humans' technology is making the world polluted with fossil fuels, transportation, power plants and the release of other chemicals. The results of the global warming are the damage to the habitat and endangered species. Humans should try to stop using their cars and try public transportation. In addition, we can also save electrical energy so that fossil fuels are not used the much. Moreover, we can use energy for the sun, wind and water. However, many people think that scientists are overselling about global warming, but they should see what is around them if they do not believe. At the end when the impending problem cover our planet, we will like to get back in time and change out lifestyle. So why not start right now, and not regret at the end. First, we can start by not throwing trash in the streets, take care of the habitat whose house is for many animals. Then, care more about animals because they also contribute to the food chain of life. In the past were many diversities of species and now we have lose many important species. Lets think about our generations and stop being selfish.

EUTHANASIA: WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Many people have questioned, should terminally ill people be cut off of life support? Everyone has an opinion. People whose family members have a terminally illness think that they should have the right to die because they have suffered for a long time. In this situations, many times family members have petitioned the court to disconnect their family members from respirators and feeding tubes. Also, a patient's death may be painful and they don't rest. Along with that, family members have to see their loved ones suffer. In addition, to all the suffering that family members and the patient have, they have to pay an extraordinary amount in expenses. However, right to life activists think that terminally ill people might be able to revived later. They also believe murder is wrong; people should not take the life of anyone, and it is against the law and they don't have the right to cut off the life of the patient. While some believe terminally ill people should be cut off of life support, and others are against cutting off life of terminally ill people, I think terminally ill people should have the right to die because they have the right to rest in peace. Also, everybody has to die in some point their lives. Life is not eternal and when you have to die, you die. Moreover, I don't think I will make the decision to unhook a family member from a respirator, who is in a vegetative state or in a coma because I will feel guilty for the rest of my life. In addition, I believe in miracles because one of my close family members was in coma and he revived after three weeks. In many cases that family members have to think what is the best option for the patient and think about him/her.

I know I am supposed to be happy because I will start college in less than a month. However, I feel happy and afraid at the same time. At this point in my life I am ready to take any challenge because I think I did the hard part all ready: to come here. My parents are content because I will be the first of three children to go to college and they are giving me everything I need. Without my family I don't think I can do everything I have done already. Now I will have the opportunity to be more independent and do whatever I want because I will be living on campus. But I will not take advantage of the trust my parents give me and I will do what I am supposed to. I don't know what to expect in my first days as a freshman in college, but I want to try new things. I am scared of my grammar because I guess that I have to write a lot of essays so I will do my best. Another thing is that I don't have money and I don't know exactly what are the college expenses. Anyways, if you want something you always have to give something in instance and I will do that.

What could the angry mob/physicians done differently?

The angry mob should have investigated first if the body, which the medical student had was the widower's wife. Also, they may have done if pacifically and peacefully, where nobody will have been hurt. The angry mob could have not damages hospitals' properties because they are useful for other people. And, they can have talked with the hospital to make conclusions about the problem. John Hick should not have run away because this make people think that he is guilty. He could have talked with the angry mob to explain that he was just joking and that he did not know the child's mom was death. However, he should not be playing with the body of a death body. If he is supposed to study about the body, he should just do what was his role.

What happen to people if they move to a big city?

If people move to a big city they have to adopt many changes. For example, there will be more noise and you might not be able to sleep. Also, there might be more criminals because they know that many people live there so there will be easy money. The following is an experience I had. Before visiting Washington D.C, I had expected it to be more crowded. While been there, I saw a lot of people in the streets. There were crosswalk signals that help people to be safe while they cross the streets. While walking on the streets, I felt insecure because there were too many beggars. And when I went to the museums, there were a lot of people there too. However, being at the museums I felt secure because the police was there. In another occasion I went to Mexico City and I felt insecure as well. Before visiting Mexico City, I knew that there are many robbers on the streets because my aunt lives there and she told me. Mexico City is dangerous because people steal everything you have when you walk in the streets. During a moment I was scared because a man followed us after we went to church. While being there I saw that in Mexico is always traffic, it does not matter the time.

Last night while my mom was cooking, my father and I watched T.V. After we watched the news, everyone in my family ate dinner. While my brother was reading a book, my sister was taking a shower. After eating dinner, I did my presentation for my listening/speaking class. During this time I had to look for information at the Internet. Before I went to take a shower, I had washed the dishes. After I took a shower, I was studying for a test.While I was eating ice cream at night, I watched a music program with my brother. After watching T.V., I went to sleep because I have to wake up early. Basically, this is my lifestyle, and it is what I do everyday.

I have to admit my strategies to learn another language are not excellent.When I answered all the questions from the questionnaires to see my strategies to learn a new language, the results were in the middle.The scale for the questionnaires were 5 always, 4 usually, 3 occasionally, 2 rarely and 1 never. I scored 13 in the questionnaire for a good planner, which indicates that I am a good planner. I am not agree with this because I never plan ahead if I have a project that will be due next week. I always do my projects a day before the date due.In the questionnaire of noticing problems I scored 13, which means that I am a good monitor. I am agree with this because I like to pay close attention to what is unclear or difficult for me. The questionnaire for solving problems my score was 11, which indicates that I am a good evaluator. I am not sure about this one, because I don't ask questions all the time and the only good think is that I notice when I am having problems with something. In the grammar questionnaire, my score was 18, which indicated that I have effective grammar learning strategies. I don't think this is correct because my grammar is terrible. I am bad in grammar. The vocabulary questionnaire showed that I am an effective vocabulary learner. I am agree with this because learning vocabulary is easy for me. I just need to take time to study the new words. In the reading questionnaire for reading my score showed that I am an effective reader which is true because I read a lot.If you read a lot if helps you to be a good reader and know the new vocabulary because of the context. The writing questionnaire showed that I used efective writing techniques. I am not agree with this because when I wrote essays I never used outlines before I wrote them. And I recognized that I need to be more organized when I have to write long papers.
